Marley & Me: From Book to Big Screen

In his New York Times Bestseller Marley & Me, John Grogan tells a touching and inspiring story about "life and love" with his dog, Marley. The thick-headed but eager-to-please and lovable Yellow Labrador Retriever helped John and his new wife learn some of life's most important lessons.

John and Jenny were young, carefree and in love when they decided they'd test their nurturing skills by including an addition to their "family in the making;" a restless 97-pound Lab who was as affectionate and loyal as he was ornery.

This Blog is a place for stories like Grogan's to continue. Join this pet-lover community and share your "Marley" stories.

That book sounds riveting. If I had not been deprived of a pet my entire life, I bet I could relate. The dogs are cute though. Great blog!

I love dogs! I have a red nose pit bull who will turn 5 in February.

My first dog was a brindle champion bred boxer and she was the best thing that ever happened to me.

I'll be sure to post pics.

Awe! I wish I had my dog here with me. I have two Chihuahuas at home, Bella and Emma, and I miss them so much.

Good job on the stories. It made me feel a little better and brought back memories of the good times with my two dogs.

Excellent job with this one! I had a yellow lab growing up and he was the sweetest dog. The book sounds cute! I will definitely recommend "Marley & Me" to my dog-loving friends.
